This Can Cause Shoulder Pain

Now there’s one big mistake that I see patients who are suffering with shoulder pain making. And in today’s video, I’m going to show you exactly what it is, and I’m going to show you how to go about correcting it, so you can start to get some much needed relief from your shoulder pain. Now this mistake that I’m seeing too many patients making is an over-emphasis on the rotator cuff. Now this is often wrongly or misdiagnosed as rotator cuff tendinitis or tendinosis, and it ends up being mismanaged or poorly managed with soft tissue massage, dry needling, and in the more severe cases, cortisone injections and sometimes surgery.

Now, unless you get this postural problem corrected, then you’re setting yourself up for a lifetime of chronic shoulder problems. Now, this postural problem is an internal rotation of the shoulder or this forward hunched shoulder. It’s an incredibly common postural problem because of the increased use of mobile phones, desk use, and this sedentary lifestyle that we have. Now, the good news is if you correct this postural problem there, then you set yourself up for great results with getting rid of the shoulder pain as well. Everything else that you’ll do will work much better. Now there’s three keys to correct this postural problem. The first is that you need to stretch out the muscles through the front part of the chest. The second is that you actually need to strengthen the muscles at the back of the shoulder and the upper part of the back. And the third is freeing up restrictions that happen in the spine, particularly in the upper middle back and the lower part of the neck.

Now this is best done by a chiropractor, not buy your uncle Jimmy. Okay? So make sure you see a chiropractor for this third one. Now in other videos in around my website or on my social pages, I’ll show you videos exactly how to go about stretching that upper part of the chest there and strengthening the upper part of the back there as well. Now, sadly, I see way too many patients who go on to have chronic shoulder problems because they don’t get this postural problem fixed. Now, if you’ve tried these exercises and you’re still having problems, then chances are the missing component is those restrictions in the lower part of the neck or the upper part of the back and I’d love to help you with that.

As I mentioned beforehand, over the last 20 years, we’ve helped thousands of patients with shoulder pain. We’d love to help you too.
